The second pink quilt is from Jill, also from Toowoomba, and this is being quilted with the tea rose e2e. The middle quilt is from Kathy, Kotara, NSW and was quilted with the fern gully e2e. Michele from Toowoomba chose the tumbling bears e2e for this cot quilt, while Joan from Laidley also chose the fern gully e2e for her batik quilt.

Friday finished at last
The first two photos are of Betty’s quilt. Betty is a long standing customer, now in her 80s and putting this kit together was a little beyond her. Kathy helped put it together and it is being quilted with the bush berries e2e machine quilting pattern. The Japanese quilt comes from Carmen at Brookstead and is being quilted with the frisky feathers e2e, while Jacki from Warrnambool is having he r batik quilt done with the feather fanfare e2e pattern.
Quilts from the far south to the far north
The first quilt today comes from Ali from Pasadena in South Australia and this is being quilted wit the daisy chain e2e machine quilting pattern. Kathy’s Bali Butterfly pattern has been utilised in this quilt which was made by Siobhan of Cairns. It is being quilted with the butterfly flurry e2e and includes an embroidered label for 3 year old Hannah Patricia. The pink quilt came from Jan of Toowoomba and she chose the simplicity e2e pattern. The blue quilt is from Phyllis of Toowoomba and she chose the roseleaves e2e pattern.
Pretty pink quilts from Toowoomba
The first two quilts came from Diane of Toowoomba who was introduced by Jenny during the new customer discount offer period. Diane chose a watermelon pink thread and the apple blossom and roseleaves e2e machine quilting patterns for these quilts. Glenda from Toowoomba chose the bohemia e2e for the bottom quilt in today’s lineup.
Basting service at KoolKat
The first quilt is from Hazel of Toowoomba, who has utilised the KoolKat Quilting basting service to hold this quilt together while she does her own machine quilting. Basting provides a quick and economic service that is a time saving alternative to pinning a quilt. The second quilt is a striking colourful quilt from Marion, also from Toowoomba. She chose the clover e2e machine quilting pattern in a beige thread.
Interesting hexagonal quilt at KoolKat today
Here’s an interesting hexagonal quilt from Lyle of Toowoomba. She asked for the daisy chain e2e machine quilting pattern in an aqua thread for this quilt. The baby quilt with the diagonal lines comes from Lesleigh of Westlake, while Lyn from Dalby dropped off the black and white quilt which will be part of the quilt show at Bell this weekend.

The drunkard’s path quilt comes from Janell of Quilpie, and she asked for the sticky buns e2e pattern.

The black and green quilt is from Merryl of Highfields and this has been quilted with the plush e2e. Next is Trish’s quilt from Banora Point, NSW which is being quilted in the budget leaf meander e2e. The pink applique quilt comes from Sandra of Toowoomba and is being quilted with the roseleaves e2e pattern.
