The first quilt comes from Janell in Quilpie and she has asked for the sunflower e2e machine quilting pattern in a yellow thread. The middle quilt is from Jennifer from Brookfield and is being quilted in the bohemia e2e machine quilting pattern in a dark cream thread. The next quilt is from Julia of Karana Downs and is being quilted in the meandering leaves e2e machine quilting pattern, while the bottom quilt is one of Kathy’s own design. Referrals bring new work to KoolKat
The first quilt (top left) from Jennine of Toowoomba and the middle quilt from Robyn in Victoria demonstrate the power of referrals in bringing new customers to KoolKat. Thank you those existing KoolKats who referred their friends to us. Jennine chose the budget leaf meander e2e, while Robyn is having the Stars and Loops e2e machine quilting pattern. Last but not least, we welcome back Trish of Toowoomba who made the bottom quilt for her grand-daughter. Trish chose the Nautilus pattern for her quilt.
Kaffe Fassett adds bright note to this week’s quilts
Allyson from Ipswich’s Kaffe Fassett quilt below is one of two we received this week; it is being quilted in orange thread using the clover e2e machine quilting pattern. We usually team these with a batik backing. Allyson’s second quilt is being quilted in the I Love It trailing hearts pattern in a olive green thread.
Quilts from the coast
First time customer Cheryl from Parkwood near Southport on Queensland’s Gold Coast sent us the quilt on the left which is being quilted with the budget meander e2e machine quilting pattern. Maria from Coorparoo, Brisbane sent the other quilt which is being quilted with the apple blossom e2e machine quilting pattern.
Six quilts received from Deception Bay
Carol from Deception Bay arrived yesterday with part of her quilting student group and brought us these six quilts. They chose patterns from the budget machine quilting range.

Machine quilting vouchers and start to our quilting year
Hello everyone, we have started work in the KoolKat Quilting studio today. Starting today and continuing during the week, we are also emailing this year’s machine quilting vouchers to customers who gave us $200+ of quilting business during 2014. Meanwhile, the year is off to a quilting start with a quilt from Tricia of Wallumbilla being quilted in the chicken-wire e2e machine quilting pattern and a quilt from Ali at Engadine, NSW which is being quilted in the Yin Yang e2e pattern.
