KoolKat will be holding an Open Studio event as part of the Toowoomba Carnival Flowers next month.

KoolKat will be having an Open Studio session during the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers week.
We will be part of the Quilts, Stitches and Textiles Trail.

Kat’s award winning quilts will be on display, and in order to make space for new projects, several of these will be available for purchase.
Also in Kat’s studio during Carnival Week, visitors will be able watch Kat at work producing her textile art pieces similar to the cushions above.
These feature free motion quilting, applique and wool couching.

The first quilt was made by Claire from Toowoomba and is being quilted with the falling snowflake e2e machine quilting pattern. The owls quilt was made by Margot from Blackall who asked for the ebb and flow e2e pattern. The ants quilt was made by Jenny from Toowoomba and is being quilted with the dragonflies e2e pattern. The two pink quilts were made by Judith from Hemmant and are being quilted with the happy times pattern. The final quilt is a drunkard’s path pattern made by Margot from Blackall and is being quilted with the alfresco pattern.
This is a Kaffe Fassett fabric quilt made by Pam from Toowoomba and is being quilted with the I Love It trailing hearts pattern.
The first quilt was made by Debby from Belivah and she chose the just roses e2e pattern and asked for an embroidered quilt label. Gail from Cooroy asked for the clover e2e pattern on her king size quilt.
Two lap quilts from Molly at Roma – the purple quilt is being quilted with the clover e2e pattern, and the roses quilt with the damask pattern.
This pink quilt made by Yvonne from Sherwood arrived today and is being quilted with the lucky charms e2e machine quilting pattern.
The circle meander pattern is being used on this quilt made by Yvonne from Sherwood, Brisbane.
The first quilt is from Rosemary from Toowoomba who chose the lucky charms e2e machine quilting pattern for her quilt. The blue police quilt made by Betty from Brassall is being quilted with the budget meandering leaves pattern while the pink quilt made by Patricia from Toowoomba is being quilted with Irish swirls. The western theme quilt made by Anita from Brookstead is being quilted with the stars and loops pattern.
Deidri from Glen Aplin delivered 3 quilts yesterday. The superheroes quilt and the middle quilt are being quilted with the ribbon candy e2e pattern, and the third quilt with the I Love It trailing hearts pattern.
