We are excited to announce our participation in the Quilts, Stitches and Textiles Trail to be held September 20-28 during the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers program of events.
Visitors will be able to come to our studio and see Kat at work on her various textile art projects. Her handmade individual pieces will be for sale, as will some of her prize-winning quilts such as Gather Ye Rosebuds.
Geoff will be at work on our two industrial long arm quilting machines. Look our for bargains as we celebrate our 15th anniversary of providing our long arm machine quilting service to Toowoomba and region, and across the nation.
Entry will be by gold coin with donations to benefit LifeFlight.
Maria from Broadwater sent 3 cot quilts as part of the March Madenss quilting special. The first is being quilted with the pebble fill e2e pattern, and in the bottom photo, the left quilt with the petal power pattern, and the right with stars and loops.
Our first March Madness quilts arrived today. Phyllis from Toowoomba asked for the Bohemia e2e pattern on the yellow and green quilt and debs swirls on the grey border quilt.
The first quilt is from Phyllis of Toowoomba who chose the damask e2e machine quilting pattern for her quilt. Johnelle from St George asked for a circular design for the second quilt below, for which KoolKat chose the sticky buns pattern.
It is time to get your unfinished quilts out of the cupboard and turn them into beautiful finished quilts.
As part of their 15th anniversary as the first long arm machine quilting service in the region, KoolKat has an offer you won’t want to miss.
The March Madness sale open now until March 29 is offering machine quilting at near half price. There are even greater savings for bulk numbers of quilts.
KoolKat stocks quality wool/poly and 100% cotton wadding for your convenience.
Also in stock is a range of competitively priced 100% cotton wide quilt backings. We return left over wadding and backing to you – many quilters find there is enough left over for binding.
Don’t like binding? – KoolKat offers a total service including complete binding (or single side, it is much easier to finish binding when the hard work of getting one side on a big quilt is already done for you).
Want to personalise the quilt? – why not order a unique embroidered quilt label that KoolKat will sew and quilt onto the back of your quilt.
Like to present the quilt in its own protective cover?
– KoolKat also offers a calico quilt bag for this purpose.
All this is topped off with our free delivery by post Australia-wide.
Go to the home page on our website, and download our latest newsletter which has the voucher you need for the March Madness special.
While you are there on the home page, download the easy to use order form which will answer your questions about what information you should include with your quilt.
