No safety in Australia Post safe-drop stickers
We have just learned that Australia Post no longer takes notice of their own “Do not safe drop” stickers, and this has been the case for the past 12 months. If any customer wishes to have this service, there is now an extra $3.00 charge which unfortunately we cannot offer as part of our free delivery service. If you particularly want this, please let us know and we will request this from Australia Post and add the required amount to your invoice. We apologise for this inconvenience – Australia Post in their wisdom, failed to advise us of this change.
If you are normally receiving a number of parcels in your household, we strongly advise obtaining a P.O. Box for deliveries, rather using a street address. Any delivery problems, if and when they occur, are mostly from postal contractors handling the delivery from the Australia Post delivery centre to your address.
