This colourful sashiko quilt from Trish at Banora Point, NSW is being quilted with the dragonflies e2e machine quilting pattern. KoolKat Quilting chose a charcoal thread to blend with the background of the sashiko panels and this has minimal impact as the photos above demonstrate. We also use this technique for applique, candle-wicking, red-work or any similar quilting where there are feature blocks.
Anne from Toowoomba brought us two quilts made using Hungry Caterpillar fabrics. They must have been breeding in her quilt cupboard!
This is Rosalie’s quilt from West Pennant Hills in Sydney. We chose the Petal Power e2e machine quilting pattern in a lilac thread to match the backing as well as the purples in the quilt top.

This is the first quilt KoolKat Quilting has received from Mavis at Roma. Mavis asked for a quilt label and blue backing suitable for a male. We supplied Blue Crisscross backing and used the prickle patch e2e machine quilting pattern.
The yellow quilt is from Gayle of Miles on Queensland’s Darling Downs and is being quilted in the dragonflies e2e machine quilting pattern in a lemon thread. KoolKat Quilting supplied a yellow Caribbean backing for this quilt. Julia from Karana Downs sent us the Tsuru quilt and asked that supply a new pattern, Not Square e2e, and a navy thread.

Anne from Toowoomba is using up her fabric stash to make this charity quilt, which is being quilted in the budget loop-d-loop e2e pattern.
The blue quilt is from Colleen of Toowoomba and has been quilted in the budget I Love It trailing hearts e2e pattern to compliment the hearts in the quilt top. First time customer Michelle from Callaghan, NSW chose the budget meander e2e pattern in a white thread for the Citrus Pinwheels quilt.
